Thank You, continued...

I was sitting here yeserday, reflecting, reading, writing, dreaming, and I was set sail on a journey of memories. Suddenly, in just a few days, it will be 2010 (2010!!! CRAZY!!!), and I can't help but sit back and take stock of my life so far. Life is good. I am where I am meant to be, need to be, and am proud of all that I have accomplished. And no matter which way you look at it, whichever time period you have come into, or out of my life, or whether you have been there all along, you are always there by my side. You have touched me on so many different levels, languages and limbos. So again - Thank You! This is for you, my peeps! All of you, and there are so many, both near and far.


You have been the air in my sails. Our special, shared moments (where I might have yelled, "Stop! Enjoy this moment!"), have shown me that love comes in all shapes and sizes, and from all over the world. You emphasize that everything really does happen for a reason, and that home is where the heart is. My "feel the love" motto has come from the times we have spent together, be it a second or a stage, an instant or an era, however many, few or far between. You have inspired me to continue to pull my dreams into reality, and that anything is possible.


You have been my family when my own was not around, seperated by distance or dispute. You have been my roommates and coworkers, my friends, best friends, boy friends and fantasies. You have been my dancing partners, tea time pals or someone to enjoy a cold beer with. You have been short and sweet stolen glances, or conversations that have eaten up the hours. You have been constants or chapters, but always showered with heartfelt emotion and revelation. We have grown together. You have listened to me 'ramble; we have surely "hugged it out,"  and it's probable we have wiped away some tears.


You have been my Confidence when my old acquaintances Doubt and Insecure have forced their way back in. You have been my Strength when my own has been on a smoke break. You have breathed life into my inspirations, motivations and imagination. You have seen me at my worst, my best and a bunch of places in between. You have loved me and let me into your world. I have loved you back and will forever hold you in my heart.


Whether we took things too far, not far enough or someplace just right, this is thanks to you. This blog is another way, another attempt to turn dreams into the present, and to keep you a part of that, since without you, none of this would be possible. Here I will cherish and savour, learn, and hopefully, pay it forward.
